Projects

The projects developed by GAPRES reflect more than five decades of experience in the field of engineering, covering various sectors of activity and levels of complexity.

Foundations and Structures

To provide engineering services with technical excellence, meeting client expectations.

We are committed to:

  • Developing and implementing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions;
  • Contributing to the progress of communities and environmental preservation;
  • Acting with a high sense of quality, ethics, and professional responsibility;
  • Understanding our clients’ objectives and contributing to their achievement.

We design excavation projects and respective retention solutions, ensuring stability and safety in urban or geotechnically constrained contexts.

We design different types of retention systems — pile walls, Berlin-type walls, and diaphragm walls — which can integrate nailing systems, anchors, or internal shoring, ensuring deformation control and protection of adjacent structures.

Within the scope of interventions on existing structures, we develop total or partial demolition projects, adjusted to the building’s structural characteristics and the intervention’s objectives, prescribing the necessary means and temporary structures.

This intervention includes facade retention structures and ensuring their compatibility with subsequent construction phases.

Interventions on existing structures are based on a rigorous technical diagnosis, which includes gathering information from the original structural designs, analyzing the construction history, identifying pathologies, and assessing load-bearing capacity.

The structural reinforcement solutions we adopt seek to increase the structural safety of buildings, taking into account the architectural intervention program and compliance with current regulations, particularly regarding seismic reinforcement.

We prepare the Construction and Demolition Waste Prevention and Management Plan (PPGRCD) during the design phase.

We identify and quantify predictable waste, defining procedures for packaging, transport, recovery, and final disposal, ensuring legal compliance and good environmental practices.

We develop the Health and Safety Plan (PSS) during the design phase, integrating risk prevention into the design process. We identify predictable risks associated with execution and future interventions, defining mitigation measures that promote safety, legal compliance, and accident reduction.

The Health and Safety Plan (PSS) during the design phase is a fundamental tool for On-site Safety Coordination.
